SAR troops destroyed five terrorists in eastern Syria

Syrian army personnel destroyed five militants from the Islamic State (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) in the province of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria, Xinhua reports. It is reported that the terrorists, having changed into the uniform of the SAR troops, entered the city of Al-Mayadin, to purchase supplies and products. However, they were identified by Syrian troops and opened fire. As a result of the shootout, five terrorists were killed. According to the news agency, on September 3, Syrian troops repelled a missile attack on a military airfield. According to the Syrian side, the missiles were fired by Israeli Air Force aircraft.
