The total number of detected cases of coronavirus infection in India over the past day increased by more than 14.9 thousand and exceeded 440 thousand. This was reported on June 23 by NDTV, citing data from the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. According to the agency, over the past 24 hours, 14,933 infected with coronavirus infection have been identified in the country and now their total number has reached 440,215. It is also reported that during the same period in India, 312 patients died from COVID-19, as a result of which their total number became 14,011. It is noted that over the past day, 10,994 people in the country were cured of COVID-19 and their total number was 248,190. Note, as reported by the news agency, earlier it became known that over the past day in Georgia confirmed 3 new cases of coronavirus, and the total number of infected reached 911 people.
