Media reported on an official shot dead in the DPRK from South Korea

The South Korean Ministry of National Defense said an official from the republic's Ministry of Marine Fisheries was shot dead in the DPRK, and then his body was cremated. This was reported on September 24 by Yonhap. North Korea found this man in its waters and committed an act of cruelty, killing him and destroying his body, according to the South Korean defense department. They condemned the act of cruelty, called on Pyongyang to explain the incident and punish the perpetrators.
