The US Congress again accused the Kremlin of interfering in the presidential election


Accusations of interference in the US presidential election were made by the speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Democrat Nancy Pelosi and her party member, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff. A joint statement by members of Congress was issued on August 29. The statement was a response to the refusal of the office of US Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe to hold briefings on the issue of ensuring security in the presidential election for members of the intelligence committees of the US Congress.
