Authorities in the Dominican Republic have declared an epidemic of coronavirus infection in their national territory. This was reported today, June 30, by local media with reference to the decree of the Minister of Health of Dominicana Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas. This decree prescribes the suspension of economic, social and entertainment activities from 20:00 to 5:00 every day of the week, with the exception of some. There is also a current ban on commercial, cultural, art and sports events in stadiums, sports palaces, galleries and other places of mass crowding, as well as the work of casinos, bars and discos. But at the same time, the work of hotels and enterprises in the tourism sector will be preserved in compliance with the new requirements for sanitary safety.
