Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated police officers on their professional holiday


On 31 May, Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Gakharia addressed police officers on the occasion of their professional holiday. This is reported by the agency InterpressNews. The Head of the Georgian Government noted that law enforcement officials take part in all spheres of society. He stressed their role in combating the spread of coronavirus in the country. Doctors, and then police, worked together 24 hours a day. 10,000 people from the Ministry of the Interior participate in this process, Gaharia said. On that day, he and the Minister of the Interior, Vakhtang Gomelauri, laid flowers to the dead police officer.
